Ingredients
2 ginger root 2-1" pieces, fresh, scrubbed
4 cups filtered water
1 tsp lemon juice organic
1 tsp maple syrup organic
1 lemon organic, lemon slice
spearmint 1/2 handful
fennel 1/2 small organic, juiced
2 green apple organic, juiced
Directions
Pour 4 cups of filtered water into pot.
Slice piece of ginger root thinly on a sharp diagonal, making about 4 or 5 slices total.
Place ginger inside pot.Bring to boil; reduce to simmer and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
While ginger tea is simmering, juice half of a small organic fennel and 2 organic green apples.
Strain juice mixture and add to the ginger tea in pot.
Add the lemon juice and drop in the lemon wedge.
Whisk to infuse the lemon.Add organic maple syrup to taste, and whisk to combine.
Serve and enjoy!
