Organic Coconut Kefir. A fermented beverage packed with beneficial probiotics and enzymes!

Ingredients

1 quart coconut milk We use Organic Native Forest Coconut Milk. This is about 2 1/2 cans.

1 package kefir starter We use Body Ecology Kefir starter.
Directions
Place one quart of coconut milk into a stainless steel pan and heat to 92 degrees.
Add 1 package of Body Ecology Kefir starter mix.
Whisk and stir well.
Place into a container, preferable a glass container with an air tight lid. Ferment at 70-75 degrees F for 18 to 24 hours.
It will thicken (slightly clumpy) and have a distinct sour aroma.
Once thickened, shake or stir vigorously and refrigerate.
Kefir still ferments in the refrigerator, but the process is slower.
Add berries for flavor and enjoy!
